Comments and Ratings for Logic Remote

Was great .. now not so much :( (1.3.2)

Since the last update it won't work unless you also update to latest OS and latest version of Logic. Would it really be that hard to make it compatible with older versions ... please!!!!!

Superb! (1.3.2)

Absolutely brilliant bit of software to have; and is especially convenient as a keyboard to play samples! A must have for anyone with Logic!

rubbish (1.3.2)

I have the latedst update for Logic Pro X and I dowloaded the Logic remote on my iPad 3. Opendup after all the updates on the app and what do I get? Nothing. It connects andelaves it on teh communication window which can't be closed after connection. Close the app and it comes back to that window again. Turn of Logic Prox X, open the app and you get the window again to connect. Truly APALLING piece of software. It never worked properly. Apple are deserting their clients. Just as they removed the audio input from the latest iMacs which is also the optical input for interfaces as well and which suits my equipment perfectly. So what do I do now? Well Apple are not interested in supporting their reputation as THE machines for media and audio processing by forcing us all into USB interfaces, so I may as well go back to Windows which seems to be getting better and better. That hurts. But I am sure that as they also force us into iOS10xxx on our Macs, more software will become flawed or useless. Where is Steve Jobs when you need him...

Still unusable (1.3.2)

Another update and it becomes clear that the developers of Logic Remote aren't listening to the frustrations of the music community. Professional Mac users differ from people who want the latest iPhone apps, our software has to mirror our hardware in terms of being solid and reliable in their compatibility. The last update forced purchasers to update their operating system as well as their version of Logic Pro X to make this application usable. These compatibility problems should have been addressed, but they have not. This has now become an unusable app for me and many others.

It's good (1.3.1)

It works and is great for mixing. Would be better if you were able to bring up eq's or third party plugins. Nice to be able to have the transport panel in a mobile form so I can get over to the drums and hit record without being next to the computer. Seems like a really good start, really hope it gets developed.

Crashes all the time (1.3.1)
23/02/2017 14:52:08 1/5 By Chris6003
This used to work quite well. And it's a really neat idea and puts good use to large iPads like the iPad Pro. But I've found using it lately all it does is crash whenever I try to use it for tapping out chords or using the keyboard. I think it perhaps hasn't caught up with the Logic update but I expect more from Apple honestly. There was a time when whatever you thought about them their products just worked the way they are supposed to..no longer the case

No longer works. (1.3.1)

Logic Remote only works with Logic Pro X 10.3 or higher, this would be okay if you didn't have to upgrade to Sierra. As I'm on Yosemite I can no longer use Logic Remote. I don't want to upgrade as it'll mess up/destroy the use of anything that's currently unsupported. Not worth the upgrade for Logic Pro X, I only use it to handle video when rewired to Ableton Live 9.7. Professional musicians can't just upgrade operating systems on a whim, this is completely useless, when Logic remote is only controlling Logic, it makes no sense to be forced into a new operating system.

Lastest update needs latest update (1.3.1)

As usual apple try to force you to update your os to be able to use updated apps etc. Waste of time company. Would advise people to look at requirements before upgrading as apple dont care about people using older older platforms. I have not upgraded due to some software i have not being supported by the latest os. Apple have become a joke company now and have lost a lot of professional users. Things like this fuels the fire to see how the company is ran by idiots now not looking after their customers. Would of been easy for them to make compatible with earlier versions but no the big head designers think otherwise. Total idiots. Hence why i use other software and boycott apple software now. Just a waste of time.

No support for Logic X older than brand new 1.3 (1.3.1)
02/02/2017 03:20:51 1/5 By SideProject__0010
Very disappointed that the latest version does not work with Logic X older than 1.3. Not all of us want to upgrade straight away, using these tools for work means they need to be rock solid and reliable. That often means waiting before upgrading the OS; it always means significant time testing before being able to use with clients. I might go back to working with a PC.

Doesn't work on earlier versions of Logic (1.3.1)

ANNOYING UPDATE. WON'T WORK without upgrading your Mac version of Logic Pro. Needs a warning. Now useless and I can't downgrade
