Shoot the enemy and travel through the galaxy!
Shooter is the latest Magma Mobile Arcade game inspired by the famous old-school manic shooters.
This Shoot 'em up (shmup or STG) will immerse you in a space environment aboard an aircraft where your goal is to shoot waves of enemies!
This "bullet hell" game (also called danmaku) is easy-to-handle but hard to master!
Indeed, the player will have to memorize levels and enemy attack patterns to confront overwhelming numbers of enemy projectiles. Using power ups will be very helpful in your adventure!
Try first the Evolution mode and travel all over the galaxy to fight against bosses and win stars to buy a huge collection of items available on the store (garage)!
Then, if you are an incredible player you will be able to unlock the Survival mode and numerous achievements!
You will also have the opportunity to customize your spaceship to improve your gaming skills (life, attack, defense...).
This HD Graphics Shooter will offer an intense experience for hardcore gamers yet remaining accessible to new casual gamers.
Come play Shooter now for a great experience!

Buggy and laggy (1.0.5)

There is a major bug in the boss fight at the end of level 6; I die every time, despite having near full health and lives to spare. After respawning I die almost immediately. This makes the game completely unplayable as there is no way to progress beyond this level. The level selection scene is also buggy; it takes several attempts to select a level because it keeps scrolling instead and the touch does not appear to register every time.
Also all levels are extremely laggy (I'm using iOS 7.1 on iPhone 4), enough to really affect the quality of gameplay. Having said that, the gameplay is not particularly interesting and gets quite monotonous before very long.
Nothing Special (1.0.4)

Very average shooter. If you like this type of game get Plasma Sky, easily one of the best apps in the genre!
Great game (1.0.4)

This is a game, it is a shooter (which it really should be with a name like that), and it is free. I was looking for non-jittery movement, tight controls, more challenge (the cash you're given is enough to unlock most important powerups that could get you the cash to get the rest - even if you're really buying potential, and only upgrade eventually, in-game), more inspired enemy, boss and scenery design, and a touch of originality and that this game ain't.
Nice game. (1.0.1)

Could do with few more stages...

Needs more levels, power ups etc! Very crafty making certain power ups way out of reach unless you play it for the rest of your life or u have the option to buy them for a small fortune!!

This is the exact kind of retro arcade style game I was looking for. It's a side scrolling arcade shoot em' up space game similar to the classic game Salamander Life Force for old Nintendo systems that some of you may remember. It does need updating though, the campaign I'm guessing is very limited and straight forward and they offer a survival mode but altogether this seems like a very linear and short game. More modes would be great and a way to use the stars for power-up's of some sort would be great as well which I'm sure the dev's are working on. My only real complaint would be the first level's background which seems very busy and hard to see bullets and ships.
