can no play online
Good game BUT!!! (1.3.1)
4/5 By Splodge53
Loved the game, played from 1st October 15 with no problem and then on 11th November would not load. I understand this is the responsibility of Apple something to do with licence and hope they sort this out promptly.
If this is not going to happen I would request a refund at once

This is a easy to play game. You get what you pay for. Works very well with my Mac mini/Phillips LED screen pairing. Very enjoyable game.

Bought this game mostly for the multiplayer because i love the old maps, but i cant seem the connect. Always says 'Connecting to master server' and nothing else..
5/5 By Terky90
I don't know what people are saying when it will not connect to multiplayer or it lags. I got a 4gb RAM MacBook Pro and my game runs like a dream on highest settings! Amazing Campaign and Multiplayer features. Definately worth the money!!
Perfect port of a classic game... (1.3.1)

This game runs perfectly on my Macbook Pro with Mountain Lion. Outstanding, well crafted and infinately replayable, well worth the asking price. 5 stars.

brilliant same multiplayer will not work but still really good
Great game runs well except…. (1.3.1)
4/5 By Psa64
The single player game works perfectly on my MacBook Pro 2008. The multiplayer option doesn't connect (ever). Considering this is one of the main reasons I bought the game, I feel an update is required. Overall I still love the new look and cripser graphics. Takes me back.
Rubbish multiplayer doesnt work (1.3.1)

Mutliplayer doesnt work …. Key code in use - cant find any help online anywhere!
Really great - BUT (1.3.1)
2/5 By Geoffthegiant
Bought this a while back and was really pleased with the performance and playability on an older mbp 13 in single player.
HOWEVER - I wanted to play multiplayer recently and I cannot join ANY server because it says 'key code is already in use'. Totally dont understand having bought it from the app store, there is no key code to enter???
Hopefully something can be done to fix this, but until then its only 2 stars.
how do your make more room on the game drive????? (1.3.1)

I have just wasted £20.99. This game only just runs on my 21 intel mac with 8gb ram by using a tidy windowed screen. how do I get a refund?
Call of Duty 2 (1.3.1)

Does not work on Lion, yet it specified 10.6.6 or later. disgusted

I loved this game on my xbox and I also had MW on my PC until I defected to the MAC world! This is as smooth as butter on my mini mac mid 2011 and a great game play. Some may say the graphics are tired looking, I say not for the game it is, and the gameplay it provides. I'm also amazed how active the multiplayer side of things are, far more so than blackops! I've already had a fair few good times with a few death matches. No complicated key pressing and in all, just plain good fun :-)
Just as good as I remember!! (1.3.1)
5/5 By D-fens73
Great WWII shooter. Just like the 360 original. Runs perfectly on my 2011 MBpro. Not tried the multiplayer so can't comment on that, but just love the story mode. It's even got the annoying Scottish bloke on the Brit levels who sounds like Shrek!! And I'm still wondering what "square go" means……..
Poor Poor Poor (1.3.1)
1/5 By FarStarbuck
If you intend to buy this game for single player alone then it'll be just as great as you remembered. However, I'm very disappointed with A) the fact the game will not connect to multiplayer regardless of the resolutions provided by Aspyr, B) there seems to be nothing being done to resolve this matter.
Jedi Knight 2 works like a dream online and off, so big question is why doesnt COD 2?
Absolutely Terrible Game Support. (1.3.1)
1/5 By Dom Greatrex
Multiplayer part of the game is very sketchy, Letting you join around 1 in 100 games on average, Same error keeps appearing "Key Code In Use, Please Try Reconnecting Later" which leads me to believe that the copy of Call Of Duty 2 i paid for is not registered properly ! I think £20.99 is an absolute disgrace as a very large chunk of the game doesn't deliver !
Atmospheric WW2 arcade blast (1.3.1)
5/5 By Joseph2020
COD 1 was great - COD 2 is even greater, a bit unrealistic as you heal very quickly when shot amongst other things but it is a game after all and lots of fun especially when you've had a bad day at work - plenty of weapons to choose from + no danger of running out of ammo as you auto-collect it whenever you walk over your dead adversaries. I've played through single player campaign 2 times now on different difficulty settings.
COD2 is a lot more open world than COD1, plus AI for troops + enemies is better, you do feel like part of a team - especially on the mid-later squad based levels.
Graphics are pretty good for fairly old game - atmospheric weather effects - sound is excellent (especially through headphones) with gunshots cracking off in distance, flak guns, explosions + enemy/friends shouting etc etc
Runs smoothly on Imac 21" 2010 model
Would recommend purchasing this you won't be disappointed, next stop COD4 ......
Go for call of duty 4 (1.3.1)
3/5 By Rolando123
Great game yes and it run smooth five hours in a entry level 13i mid 2009 MacBook Pro is what i like of COD 2 and 4 they run well no like Assasin Creed 2 that is unplayable, so for £10 more i hardly recomend go for COD 4...Ok i don't really like a lot war games but you can't go wrong about get a game with nice graphics that run smoothly and have multiplayer. Is no lot of players in all the servers but always you find players and is really easy to join them.May a little bit expensive COD2 because is a bit old but for COD4 is ok.ANyway Mac App Store games are no cheap and some of them really doesn't run very well is why i get COD2 it run good, have good graphics, four dificult levels and multiplayer. But i like i say if you can go for COD 4 ...
Hope that help others because we pay a lot and after no always is true what the developers say or what we expect ..
Ok have fun and may see you in multiplayer my username is Sov ..
Oh it takes me to download like a bit less than half hour with a broadband connection.
Hmm i shall say nice experience in general ..
I don't think you go wrong geting it and i think you go right getting COD4.
Alright can be cheaper ..
A classic. Still fun to play. (1.3.1)

This is a great game to revisit. I'm suprised to find that the multiplayer is still alive and kicking and I'm glad that games like this are coming to the Mac platform. Bring on some more Aspyr!
