MindNode makes mind mapping delightful. Mind maps are a visual representation of your ideas, starting with a central thought and growing from there. MindNode allows you to brainstorm, organize & share your thoughts in an intuitive way, so you can focus on the idea behind it. The clean interface lets you concentrate on generating and connecting thoughts, and an infinitely expanding canvas means that no matter how big or complicated your project gets, MindNode can keep up.

MindNode has helped students, artists and project managers to be more creative with less effort.

Comments and Ratings for MindNode 2

The best mind mapping and note taking app. Ever. (2.5.1)

Title says it all. I love this app. its beautifully and simply designed. It says what it does on the tin and its better than the rest.

Good but some issue with pixelating (2.5.1)
15/04/2017 09:57:19 4/5 By Danlibripark
When zooming in and zooming out, pixels keep breaking up into more blurry lines for both texts and lines connecting nodes. If that is fixed, it would make viewing mind maps much less straining to the eyes.

Simple. Powerful. Elegant. Awesome. (2.5)

Mindnode is a very good app. It does what it needs to do very, very well, You can create mindmaps in seconds, they look good, its intuitive to use, you can use it on your mac and mobile devices, and you can navigate through the maps easily and quickly using either your touchscreen, your trackpad or with keyboard shortcuts. There is also a lot of additional functionality hidden under the bonnet when you need something a little extra, but crucially, these features don’t get in the way of your standard workflow. If you are a fan of mind maps, this is worth purchasing. The one caveat is that the price for new users appears to have increased significantly from when i originally purchased it in 2015.

Excellent (2.4.5)

I have used several mindmapping applications. Mindnode 2 is the best by far.

Really very very good… but... (2.4.3)

I’ve been using this for some time across iOS and Mac devices and really enjoy it - certainly is very much worth the asking price. But a couple of (for me) glaring omissions which detract a bit: - No way to change the default spacing between branches - if you don’t use decorations/circles around a node name, the branches are packed very tightly make a complex mindmap difficult to read. Would be great if there was a slider control to change the default vertical distance between sibling nodes - Branch layout defults to either left, right or left and right of the central node. Would be great to offer an up/down (or circular) option, again an issue for complex mind maps. Yes, you can switch off ‘smart layout’ but would be nice if this were an auto-layout... (If i’m missing a way to do these, please correct me!) Very close to being a 5-star app, but at least for my use, these issues remove a star - It’s otherwise an excellent app!

Top Mind Mapping app now with reminders integration (2.2)
26/01/2016 21:14:00 5/5 By David Edge
MindNode has always been a great app for - well whatever you use mind mapping for. What it lacks in enterprise-level bells and whistles it makes up for with simplicity and clarity and a beautiful appearance, ease of use and great responsive support. This latest version allows you to designate branches as tasks and integrate them with Apple reminders - WOW!! I’ve been waiting for this in a mind map for 25 years and the only program I know of that did it was enormously expensive and sent the tasks to MS-Project. With MindNode you can break down all those steps in a project and then instead of copy and pasting them to a time/task management app, just send them to Reminders. Whether you check them off from reminders or MindNode they stay in sync. It doesn’t support priorities or dates, it’s not for building a box-girder bridge, more for organising a party or a holiday. The only thing you need to know to use it successfully is that while the release notes say you can export a map to Apple Reminders you actually use the ‘Share’ [-> icon to do this. So only 9¾ out of 10 for now.

Paying for upgrade (0)

I like the product, it’s easy to use, and intuitive, once you get the hang of it. Really dissapoited to have to pay 23 GBP to get the product upgraded to work with El Capitan! I thought I read that exisitng users got a significant discount on the upgrade - didn’t happen :-(

Simple, intuative, valuable (0)

Good tool. Didn’t read any of the insturctions (but I will do!) and was able to use it very easily. Helped me plan for some presentaitons, and the output was actually so easy on the eye I used the map in a supporting document too. I also bought it on the ipad, which you have to pay for seperately (not the developers fault, this is an apple issue), but am glad to report that it all saves to iCloud (assuming you allow it) meaning I can get my maps on all my devices. I’ve read that there are other tools which offer a bit more functionality, but I wanted something simple and easy to use. That’s what I got.

Great professional tool. (0)

Loving mind node. Very intuitive, beautiful to look at. I personally like the coloured strands on a pitch black background. And the mymindnode link is very elegant and easy to use to share your thought outline. Others can expand and collapse the nodes and read notes. Great professional tool.
